Chiropractic Secrets Revealed

Feb 1st, 2010

Dr. Mark Kestner reports in the Murfreesboro Post, ”

Unlike magicians, chiropractors haven’t taken an oath to never reveal their secrets.  In fact, chiropractors actively encourage patients to learn more about how their spine functions so they can prevent future problems.  Chiropractors are spinal specialists. Training differs from that of medical spine specialists, such as spine surgeons, but is quite extensive and thorough. Chiropractors are licensed as Chiropractic Physicians by the state of Tennessee. The degree Doctor of Chiropractic is earned after four years of undergraduate college followed by four years of intensive graduate study at an accredited chiropractic college.  The graduate studies are similar to that of medical and osteopathic colleges during the first two years, composed of basic sciences such as human anatomy (including human dissection), biochemistry, pathology, microbiology and similar topics.”

A message from  Peter H. Morgan, DC reaching out to you for your help for the Haitian Mission trip:

As you may know, our Mission-Chiropractic team just returned home from our Chiropractic Mission trip to Haiti on Monday January 11, 2010. On Tuesday January 12, 2010 a terrible earth quake struck. I am presently leading a chiropractic mission trip to Haiti on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. The team will be leaving from Kennedy Airport and will be arriving in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at approximately 5 PM. The team will then join the team of Herman Mendoza, founder of Stepping Stone Ministries. Stepping Stones Ministries has a history of responding to disasters. Mission-Chiropractic is working in collaboration with Stepping Stone Ministries and the Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in New York to provide relief to the victims of this terrible earth quake. The team will rent several jeeps.  The team will stay in Santo Domingo on Wednesday night, and depart on Thursday morning in a convoy, on a 5 hour mountain journey and will arrive in Port Au Prince, Haiti on Thursday afternoon. The team will stay in Port Au Prince in a home owned by a patient of Dr. Morgan’s. Our objective is to bring water filtration systems for the 100’s of people living on the property of Dr. Morgan’s patient and to other homes that are still standing. Their present water is contaminated.  We will also provide Chiropractic to the relief workers. If you want to join us please contact Dr. Morgan at chirorye@aol.com We need money for water filtration systems, jeep rentals, plane tickets for our Haitian friends who want to return home, first aid kits, non- perishable foods, etc. Please also see attached for other items that we need. Please make a tax deductible credit card donation to steppingstone ministries at steppingstoneministries.org. Please indicate chiropractic with your donation. – Peter H. Morgan, DC
